The Nine Muses
Nine daughters of Memory, one card each. Four have left the workshop.
The nine Muses of Greek myth are the daughters of Zeus and Mnemosyne — Memory — and between them they hold every art the ancient world took seriously: epic and love poetry, history and astronomy, tragedy and comedy, dance, sacred song and music. This series gives each one a card: an antique-style engraving laser cut into black anodized aluminium, a Latin motto on the front, a blessing and the card's own number on the back.

- Who are the nine Muses?

- How many cards are there in the series?
- Nine in total, one for each Muse. Four have been engraved so far: Urania, Calliope, Clio and Erato.
- Are the cards a limited edition?
- No. The numbering is open: each card takes the next number in the workshop ledger, in the order it is made. No two cards ever share a number.
- Do I have to collect the whole series?
- No. Each card stands on its own — most are bought as a gift for one person, chosen for what that Muse presides over.
