- Is the engraving durable?
- Yes. The image is laser engraved into anodized aluminium, not printed on top of it. It will not rub off, fade or wash away.
- Can the card be personalised with my name or text?
- No — each card is a finished artwork, not a custom product. What makes yours unique is its number, engraved in the order of the workshop ledger.
- Can I choose a specific number?
- If it has not been taken yet, gladly. Send a message through Etsy before ordering.
- Is it ready for gifting?
- Completely. The card arrives mounted on a black backing inside a matte black envelope sealed with golden wax. Breaking the seal is part of the gift.
- How long will delivery take?
- Each card is made to order and then shipped from Germany with tracking. The delivery estimate for your country is shown on the Etsy listing.
- What is the card made of?
- Black anodized aluminium, 86 × 54 × 0.8 mm and 0.8 mm thin — the size of a card you carry rather than one you shelve.
- What does the number on the back mean?
- Every card carries its own Numerus from the workshop ledger. There is no edition limit and no certificate: the count simply goes on, and no two cards ever share a number.
- I accidentally damaged my card. Can it be replaced?
- Yes — your Numerus is yours for life. Send the damaged card back to the workshop and a new card is engraved with your same number for €12.90 plus shipping. The damaged card is retired in the ledger. Cards damaged in transit are replaced free of charge — just send photographs.
- Where do I buy it?
- Through the Etsy shop, for €29 plus shipping — the cost for your country is shown on the listing. Returns are accepted within 30 days.
